What’s the catch?
There’s no catch—Kitchen One is more affordable than other food delivery platforms because of our efficient, cost-saving model. Here’s the math:
Traditional platforms like UberEats or DoorDash rely on vast driver networks, which come with high operational costs. To offset these expenses, they charge restaurants fees of 20-35%. Restaurants, in turn, pass these costs on to you.
Kitchen One takes a smarter, more efficient approach. By using an "outpost" model and setting specific "order by" times, we streamline logistics. This allows us to group orders and optimize delivery routes, achieving an average of 8 deliveries per driver—compared to just 1 delivery per driver on other platforms. The result? Lower operating costs for us and greater savings for you.
Can I cancel my order?
Unfortunately, not : ( Once orders are placed they can no longer be modified or canceled. It’s the nature of the beast (due to all the moving parts, etc.)
How will I know when my food arrives?
When your order is delivered you will automatically receive a sms to the number you provide at checkout. On the rare occasion you don’t receive a message, please check your K1 pickup shelves at or around your office’s designated delivery time.
What if I have an issue with my order?
For any order-related issue, you can email K1 support at support@getk1.com or call us at 732-858-5363. We are always happy to assist you.
What if my company is sponsoring lunch?
Good for you! For office-sponsored lunches, Kitchen One offers a great group ordering feature. Here’s how it works.
1. Click on the “Group order” button to generate a link to a common cart.
2. Share the link with employees.
3. Select your items.
4. Close the cart and checkout with one credit card.
